Amidst the bustling streets of Pakistan‘s Federal Capital, the Second Wife Cafe & Restaurant was all set for something extraordinary. However, this was a challenge to the brand, especially because the name was associated with something unpleasant in the local culture. The task was to take this type of perception and turn it into a positive, humorous message, especially for women. Our mission was clear: to contribute to the establishment of Second Wife Cafe with a fun brand image to support people in enjoying their meals in an aesthetically appealing restaurant.
A Positive Brand Narrative
The first stage of the process identified was to redefine the brand’s positioning. We agreed with the cultural appropriateness of the name “Second Wife” and decided to make it as playful as possible. We initiated a branding campaign for the company and also changed the logo of the cafe, which was also in the process of being developed with the theme of warmth and the special cuisine on offer. Often, the change of the logo becomes a signal of power and joy, to which our audience reacts positively and is in line with the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant we are creating.
